The Seniors Section of Elsham Golf Club holds a small amount of personal information about its members so the Section can be run and members kept informed. This policy explains what we hold and how it is used.

What we hold

Members’ names, telephone numbers and email addresses. People applying to join also give their date of birth, golf handicap and a short golfing history on the application form.

Why we hold it

To organise fixtures, competitions and events, to contact members about Section matters, and to consider membership applications. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the Section for its members.

How it is protected

The members’ contact list on this website is password protected and is not listed by search engines. We never sell, rent or share members’ details with third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep members’ details while they remain a member and for a short period afterwards, then remove them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it removed — please contact the Section Secretary and we will deal with your request promptly.
