Thanks to all those who were able to support the event, to Robin and Mike for donating the trophies and to Mick for presenting them.
Incredibly the match was tied 6-6. Sincere thanks go to Bulmers' captain Ian Carr for suggesting the prize money should therefore go to charity, this was heartily agreed by all and the event organiser's chosen charity is Help 4 Heroes.

A fantastic day and thanks again to Steve Ayres for organising. The weather was perfect for golf with blue sky, sunshine and a light breeze at times. Thanks also go to the Driffield team for hosting us so well. The results were as follows:

Hornsea away Day
A fantastic day was had by all at the Hornsea away day. The weather was just perfect for golf with blue sky and sunshine and only a light breeze blowing from the south. The course was in excellent condition after the rain over the past few days with the greens very receptive to a well struck ball.
The warm welcome from the catering team and Richard the professional was great to see and the meal afterwards was exceptional. We will be back!!
There was an individual stableford competition, a secret team competition, nearest the pin on the 12th, and a two's club. the results are below:

We had a gentlemanly draw in out last match against Normanby Hall away on Wed 7th May. Our next match is against Market Rasen (away) on Thu 22nd May.
Your next cttee meeting is on Mon 12th May. Items for consideration by the cttee should be submitted in writing to Will or Dave by Mon 5th May.
Members are also asked for spend proposals for the good and benefit of the Section. Ideas to James Newsom or any committee member.
